Delighted to have completed the UCLA Extension Certificate in Film Scoring in December 2018; I’m looking forward to applying the new skills and technology in the context of some new exciting projects. Here’s the clip I rescored in the final recording session of the Advanced Film Scoring Workshop at East West Studios in Hollywood, under the tutelage of Jim Venable (composer on Scary Movie 5 and Clerks II) and Damon Tedesco (stage crew on First Man and Deadpool 2)

Current Projects
After having music featured in Roots and Wings in March, John has teamed up with longtime collaborator Anne Marie Kelly on her superb debut short film, Ma. The score has just been completed and the film is in the very final stages of post-production. It was truly a pleasure working on such a humane and emotional film with Anne Marie and her talented team. Here’s a cue that wasn’t used but has many of the elements that ended up in the score (solo mandolin, guitar, strings).
